NPS Patent Searches at the IPI-ConfEx 2006

Did you know that patent searching is not as easy as it may seem? Even professional patent searchers often have difficulty finding what they're looking for. Analysis shows that searchers have difficulty determining what the subject is, identifying selection criteria and in particular choosing the most effective combinations of search terms. The result is often that relevant documents are being missed.
