Legal status searches

In addition to patent family searches it is often desirable to investigate the legal status of the associated pending patent applications and granted patents. To determine whether the patent applications are still being processed or whether the granted patents are still in force, the associated registers of the national patent authorities are being consulted such as the register of the EPO, EPO online patent register.
